Timeline

From the (very) late 70's to the early 80's I lived in Brazos County, Texas. My family then moved to Pineville, Louisiana, where we stayed until the late 80's. During this time, my younger brother Charlie and I attended Montessori Educational Center in Alexandria, Louisiana and played soccer.

In 1989, we moved to Corydon, Indiana. There I attended North Harrison Community Schools until graduating in 1997. I played soccer in both middle school and high school, and ran cross country and pole vaulted in high school. I worked several jobs during and immediately following high school; my favorite was working as a gate attendant at Harrison-Crawford State Forest.

After graduating high school, I attended Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana for two and a half years. While at Purdue I joined the Indiana Delta chapter of Phi Kappa Psi. In 2000, I transferred to Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. I worked at BuffaLouies and generally had a good time. Later that year I moved home and transferred to Indiana University Southeast in New Albany, Indiana. Before graduating from IUS in 2002, I was employed by the Student Development Center as both a Calculus tutor and an SI Leader for CSCI 202.

From 2002 to 2007 I lived in Seneca, South Carolina and attended graduate school at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. I worked in various Graduate Assistant positions and spent virtually all of my time working, studying, researching, and writing (both code and prose). When I did have free time, I spent it with my lovely wife Christine, who I married in 2003, and my good buddy Ringo.

Christine, Ringo, and I moved to Northport, Alabama in the summer of 2007.
